  • How we work

    We are a bit different! I bring together film specialists to form a crew for each individual job, to get the right person for a particular need. You are still working with your BHF approved supplier but with also with a team of specialists.

    Having seen the previous BHF video I would use a great DOP, Mark Moreve to work with me on these videos. We have worked together on many jobs. You will know his work, he recently worked on King Charles’ Succession speech as well as the previous few years HM Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas Day messages!

  • Working with bhf case studies

    We have fun. So when we work with case studies we have a good time, and that means they have a good time as well. They relax, let their guard down and behave naturally. No stiff poses or awkwardness. We spend a lot of time with our case studies throughout the day and really get to know them. This helps us gel as a team so we can work through the shoot list in a relaxed but productive way.

    We shoot handheld, giving us plenty of opportunity to capture spontaneous, unscripted action in a reportage style. If there is scope to shoot low down amongst the daisies up to drone shots we can cover it! We get to where the story, and the shot, will come over strongest.

  • Shooting stills and video

    Although I started off solely as a photographer I have been shooting video since 2013. It was a natural progression when working with people, light and composition to add the moving element!

    Shooting stills and videos for a client’s project has many benefits, but probably the most important in the BHF’s case would be the continuity across print, website and social media. If we are shooting in a fresh new style (brand guidelines allowing of course!) we can ensure this is carried across both media used by the BHF going forward.   • Costings

    At the end of the day it all comes down to costs. I have put together a competitive estimate using a crew of 3 ( or 4 with a producer) to cover all budgets. There is the possibility to use stock footage for the hospital and lab section so this could cut costs as an extra option.

    I’m really keen to work with you, as are the team, so we’re happy to tailor a shoot to a particular budget if required.

  • Natural - Believable

    For me it’s all about captured moments. The unscripted moments that make the video believable. When setting up a scene or scenario we create the story and let it run. I don’t ask the models to pose a picture. Instead they are left to let the scene develop and evolve. Often the shots we get are not the ones envisaged but the spontaneous moments caught after they have forgotten the camera is there.

  • And Finally...

    We get it. The emotional connection to a clients brand is an essential part of my image making.

    Emotional Connection for viewers = warmth towards the brand.

    To get this across to potential BHF fundraisers and corporate sponsors we aim to connect emotionally using our videos.
